Pensions & Welfare

The first words in the RSL Mission Statement are:
- WELFARE
- ADVOCACY AND REPRESENTATION
- ASSISTANCE TO VETERANS
We have several TIP trained pension and welfare officers available to assist in any inquiry you may have. You do not have to be a sub branch member to receive this professional assistance.
Rules and regulations regarding pensions from DVA change regularly and our team is equipped and up to date with all amendments. You may be entitled to more than you are getting. It will cost you nothing to find out. All you have to do is make an appointment by phoning the club on 5438 5800.
DVA also provides several avenues of support and to make you lifestyle more comfortable and safe. We are able to advise you of you entitlements in this area also. Once again make an appointment by phoning 5438 5800.
Quite often ex service people are house bound because of their health or at worst even hospitalized. We can arrange for a trained welfare officer to visit and make sure you are looked after correctly. This can be done by phoning 5438 5800 and speaking with our welfare team.
