The Caloundra RSL is a multiple Clubs Queensland Award Winner, having won club of the year a record four times!

The Caloundra RSL provides members and guests with a vibrant and exciting day or night out. It’s the best place to meet friends and enjoy a meal or kick back and take in the variety of entertainment available every day of the week. It truly is "the time of your life!"

Our restaurants offer fresh, mouth watering, delicious meals every day of the week. And you can choose from our great range of function rooms and facilities for weddings, birthdays and corporate conventions.

Caloundra RSL is the home of first class entertainment on the Sunshine Coast. Opening daily from 9.30am.

The minute you walk though the doors you’ll notice why the Caloundra RSL is so special. Your experience begins in our reception area where you’ll find all of our services within easy reach, all on the one level.

Our friendly staff are on hand to help you with any enquiry you have about the facilities or your membership.

You will find full ATM facilities, cigarette and snack food vending machines plus lift access to the underground car park  and when it’s time to go home  there’s a free taxi phone or use our courtesy bus service.

Disabled toilets are easily accessible from both sides of the Club and there’s a baby change area off the foyer.

Caloundra RSL Club History

The Caloundra RSL Services Club opened its doors in 1964. Further expansions took place in 1975 and 1994. Stage 1 of the Club’s Master Plan Development commenced in February 1996 culminating with an official opening in April 1997.

The Stage 2 design commenced only months after the opening due to the success of Stage 1 and construction started in 1999. Due to the size of Stage 2 this expansion took over 12 months and was completed in July 2000.

Stage 2 was the culmination of a 5-year redevelopment and expansion at a cost of nearly 20 million dollars. 

This latest redevelopment has lifted the Caloundra RSL to the forefront of Club operations in Queensland. Using the wide open spaces, high quality finishes and a coastal theme, the Caloundra RSL has now set the standard that the Queensland Club Industry must strive towards.

Caloundra RSL Services Club Inc.

The Caloundra RSL Services Club Inc is the business and social segment of the organisation. It consists of a Management Committee, which is responsible for the formulation of the Club’s operational procedures and fulfilling requirements as specified by the Sub-Branch members.

The Management Committee has 12 elected representatives, of which a minimum of eight must come from the Sub-Branch Management Committee. The remaining four positions may also be filled by members of the Sub-Branch Committee or alternatively by four other Sub-Branch Members. The Club’s General Manager reports directly to the Management Committee's.

The Sub-Branch owns the Services Club facilities and the Club is a tenant and pays rent to the Sub-Branch to use the facilities.

COMMUNITY SERVICES

Donations and Sponsorships
The Caloundra RSL Services Club takes its role in the local community very seriously and as such has made a conscious decision to sponsor junior sport on the Sunshine Coast.

Our philosophy behind this is to keep the image of the RSL movement at the forefront of the community, particularly our youth.

Sponsorships are available to sporting clubs, schools, community events and awards. The Club contributes over $1,000,000 into the community each year helping to make sure that everyone benefits.
