Training and Development

The Club believes its employees are its most valuable asset.  We place major emphasis on the training and development of all our employees.

In-house or off-site training courses may be offered to individual employees to further their hospitality skills.  Additionally, traineeships ranging from Certificate II through to Certificate IV in Hospitality may be offered via internal training through our registered training organisation Nexgen.

Hospitality & Training Centre

Nexgen Hospitality Training Solutions is a Registered Training Organisation and has many training facilities located throughout the Caloundra RSL.  Nexgen offers training in Certificate II, III and IV in Hospitality (Operations) to our employees. We encourage all employees to undertake these traineeships to further their hospitality skills and knowledge.  For further information please speak to your direct supervisor or come and see one of the training team.

Our aim is to consistently deliver exceptional hands-on training using dynamic training methods.  Our own qualified trainers conduct the training sessions.  Nexgen’s philosophy is to ensure students receive training from current industry professionals - all trainers hold operational positions within all of the RSL venues.
