November Last was very busy for Kevin – playing the New Zealand version of “The Last Waltz” 22nd November Christchurch – 23rd Wellington & Auckland 24th then his own Annual Sydney Harbour Cruise on the 25th – the main scoop the New Zealand version of the last Waltz show was that the promoters Liberty Stage, had Garth Hudson the original Keyboard player at 79yrs. playing in the show, an amazing experience along with Ace musical Director – Keyboards & Producer John Simon added authenticity.

If you’re not familiar with Kevin –
He is an iconic Australian Guitarist who’s music appeals to most ages across the
Board and still rides his Express to destinations of excitement.

Kevin plays his first set with a 1930’s National Acoustic guitar followed by his Electric
guitars in the second set showing versatility in musical styles.

He won the Australian Rock Music Awards Best guitarist for two years running in 1977 & 78 as well as being inducted into the Australian Blues Hall of Fame for his musical contributions.

Kevin has actually played on stage with international musicians with the likes of Carlos Santana, [at the Rock Arena Shows to 60,000 people]- Joe Walsh [The Eagles],- Ritchie Blackmore [Deep Purple], Taj Mahal , Living Colour, – Legends Bo Diddley & John Mayall .
also Jamming with Ronny Wood [The Rolling Stones in Ronnie’s basement NY]

Was foundation member of The Party Boys, the name he thought of.

He has played support shows for Fleetwood Mac, Elton John, Jeff Beck, Status Quo, Peter Frampton Buddy Guy to name a few – as well as our very best Australian Artists including Renee Geyer, Richard Clapton, Marc Hunter, Joe Camilleri.

Played the RockWiz shows at the Sydney Opera House in April 2016, which also featured Tim Rogers, Richard Clapton, Olympia, Paul Dempsey, Vika & Linda Bull with the RockWiz Orkestra – yes that’s how they spell it!

Festivals he’ll be performing so far in 2017 – The Thredbo Blues Fesival Jan 21st 22nd – Blues on Broadbeach Festival May 20 – 21.
