This modern-day performer has enjoyed an exciting start to his career and has achieved\na swag of impressive milestones. His talent and hard work ethic have led him to tour extensively with country music artist\nCol Finley.\n“I rate Will Day as one of Australia’s most energetic live shows in today’s music industry. He is going to really stamp his\nmark on this industry with his honest\, edgy and just down home country”\, Country artist Col Finley.\nWill grew up listening to some of the great musical influences of our time on family road trips where his parents would\nplay the likes of James Taylor\, The Eagles\, Paul Kelly and Cat Stevens. Will fondly recalls ‘Father and Son’ as the first song he\nperformed in public when he was 14 in a local talent quest. A pivotal turning point was discovering Keith Urban in his\nteenage years and it was then that Will decided that country music was where he needed to be. Other country influences\nfollowed including Allan Jackson and Garth Brooks before discovering the rich depth of talent we have here in Australia\,\nartists such as Travis Collins. It’s from these artists\, Will made country music his own.\nWill’s early career offered releases such as Seasons\, the award winning first single off his debut EP released late 2016\,\nwhich enjoyed time in the Top 10 on the iTunes chart.\nThe tide was turning in 2017 where Will toured internationally to New Zealand. This was followed by headlining the\nGoondiwindi B n S with record crowds and was a finalist in three categories for the Independent Country Music\nAssociation Awards for which he won the fan voted ‘Most Popular EP’. That same year also saw Will win the Male Rising\nStar Awards at the Southern Stars Independent Country Music Awards in Mildura\, Victoria.\nIn October 2017\, Will released his single ‘The Country Life’\, which reached the Top 10 on Australian Country Radio\, was\nrecorded and produced by Benji Pocock at Vibetone Studios and co-written with Troy Kemp\, Damien Baguley and Col\nFinley. The track came together in an hour after hearing the chorus idea from Damien Baguley and Troy Kemp and told the\ntale of dropping the city life for a weekend and getting out into the country.\nWill has been described by peers in the country music industry as one of the hardest working artists they know. 2018 alone\nsaw him travel some 50\,000kms touring regional NSW\, ACT along with North and Central QLD. A definite crowd favourite\ncan be put down to his vibrant\, energetic stage presence and willingness to give it his all every time he hits the stage. He\nhas opened for the likes of Morgan Evans\, Shannon Noll\, Icehouse\, Diesel\, The Whitlams\, Hoodoo Gurus\, The Baby\nAnimals\, The Black Sorrows\, Kingswood\, Col Finley and The Viper Creek Band while also appearing at some of Australia’s\nmost popular country music festivals\, including Tamworth Country Music Festival\, Groundwater Country Music Festival\nand Gympie Music Muster.\n2019 was a breakout year for Will\, where he enjoyed nine straight shows at Tamworth Country Music Festival\, entertaining\ncrowds at West Diggers. DESCRIPTION:Amazon Blue \nAre a fresh new and very experienced musical group\, having four successful asian contracts under their belts which allowed their music to reach an international audience. \nAfter the completion of the first six-month contract at the Tokyo Hilton Japan\, Amazon Blue  \nwere invited for another 6 months in tokyo\, 6 months in nagoya\, japan and back to tokyo.  \n  \nThey have also completed ten successful contracts with Voyages Resorts eg Brampton Island Resort\, Heron Island Resort and Spa. Amazon Blue  were also contracted to perform on Daydream Island Resort for Christmas 2004\, New year 2004\, Valentines day 2005 and Australia Day 2005. They are also regular performers at Mooloolaba Surf Club on the sunshine coast among many others venues there and Brisbane. They have just completed a contract  down in Tasmania at the Launceston Country Club Casino and are in the process of choosing more exotic locations around the world to perform.  \n  \nThe founders and core of the group are Fran Kelly (vocals\,percussion\, sound engineering) and Gus Mckinstray (sax\, keyboards).They also have the capacity to add the talents of some of the Sunshine Coast and Brisbanes best musicians to their line up when a larger band is required ( eg superb guitarists\, international percussionists\, and many other highly professional and talented artists). Collectively their experience in the music industry in both brisbane and melbourne spans 20 years. They have performed with some of the most distinguished entertainers and musicians over the years including being asked to  perform for and with Diana King and her band in tokyo 2003. (“ Say a Little Prayer” fame) .Amazon blue performs as a duo\, trio \, four piece and on to a six-piece band when lucky enough to need a larger group for conferences and functions. \nNow based back on the sunshine coast\, they are creating quite a stir with their fresh repertoire of a  contemporary jazz\, groove based  style. It seems there is a large number of people over 25 that want a change in the music they listen to and they are loving the ambience  surrounding amazon blue. Imagine sitting back on a sunny afternoon\, overlooking the water\, enjoying a fine wine and listening to the smooth sounds of Amazon blue. \nThis is due to their choice of music\, innovative ideas\, great reputation and most of all the ability to create a harmonious and relaxed atmosphere with the customers and staff alike. \nTheir concept is to reproduce some of the forgotten music of the 70s and 80s including artists such as Steely Dan\, Patti Austin\, Michael Franks\, Al Jarreau\, Grover Washington Chaka Khan and Renae Geyer to appeal to guests who are true music lovers with a finer taste. Sprinkle this with smooth jazz from the 40s and 50s for the older and more refined guests (to reminise and stroll down memory lane). Then add contemporary groove to the equation eg(Maroon 5\, Jack Johnson\, Maxwell \,Ben Harper and Missy Higgins etc  )for the younger generation who want to listen to live music and enjoy a fine wine with dinner\, then you have the recipe for a very sophisticated evening of music covering and catering to all ages and musical tastes without just repeating  the standard repertoire  of music played  everywhere.  \nTaking the risk of being different has been an incredible adventure and has most definitely   paid off in in customer and  Management   Appreciation in a time where people are desperate for a change in music. \n
